to all mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, out there...

i love this picture of my momma that i quickly snapped when we were recently at animal kingdom. grateful for everything she does for me! i wanted to share the lyrics to a song that the littles sing for mothers day at my church, that has my heart forever swooned and thankful for the power of motherhood, and that one day i will frame by my bedroom wall as a reminder to not want to strangle my future children when they get crazy haha.

"I often go walking in meadows of clover,
And I gather armfuls of blossoms of blue.
I gather the blossoms the whole meadow over;
Dear mother, all flowers remind me of you.

O mother, I give you my love with each flower
To give forth sweet fragrance a whole lifetime through;
For if I love blossoms and meadows and walking,
I learn how to love them, dear mother, from you."

happy mothers day momma! and to all the mothers out there in the world. and in general, daughters, sisters, aunts, and all women. generations and generations of life are forever influenced by your love, kindness, and sacrifice.

girls night

^^ can't you tell our favorite one was the Mini Berries & Cream Entremet? i didn't get to snap an individual pic of it because we ate it that quick lol ^^
^^ the Spumoni cake! ^^

with my mom flying in and out of the state every other week, our work schedules, and my school schedule, rarely do we ever get to go out us girls for a girls night. so with the free time, we ate out, did some shopping, and ate dessert, also to celebrate a mini pre-birthday celebration between my mom and I since we're both May babies!

this place has become one of my favorite places to eat at for dessert! a couple weeks ago, my friend becca and i, checked it out for kicks after looking up dessert places at winter park. mind you, i've only been there twice, but i'm in love with it. The Glass Knife! it's located in Winter Park and it has the chicest ambiance ever. pinks and pretty lights everywhere. i'm solely convinced that i'll be having my bridal shower over there!

i also hear that their doughnuts are to die for, but they usually run out by 3pm. so with that, i'll probably be back early next week to catch them!

somewhere in wonderland

i'm a killer for a good spot to eat with a good atmosphere and even better company! this morning we planned a little tea time at the Tea Room in Celebration, and it was just the cutest thing ever. the food was pretty yummy and the presentation of it all- just all of my tea party dreams as a child came true lol. and with it being an Alice in Wonderland theme made it all the better.

we also felt pretty legit and grown up catching up with each others lives all while sipping a cup of tea, haha. but these ladies and their lives, so so sweet to listen in on their adventures and plans. hope to find an even better spot to just do it all over again soon.
