The day before Mothers Day the guys in our branch put together a Black & White party. Usually us girls are involved with planning of activities, but we had no idea of the plans for this one. We thought it was a party to celebrate together. It ended up being a party for us girls. It was so sweet of all of them. They brought us to a "cocktail room" where they served us horderves, played music, and served us drinks. They then brought us into the cultural hall. They decorated the tables, put some decorations on the walls, played Michael Buble! We sat down and the guys brought baskets of  like three different breads and offered us fancy drinks with raspberries and basil inside the ice cubes! Fancy. Just fancy. So fancy that there was even a personalized menu. I mean seriously, these guys went over the top. It doesn't even stop there. As we were waiting for our food to arrive, some of the guys broke out to a choreographed dance to Shaggy's "Angel" And to top it all off, they even put together a desert table. Actually to top that, the guys put together a sweet little slideshow of pictures and videos of what they thought of the girls in the branch. Yes, we were pampered that day. The food was provided by our professional chef friend, Josh, and his girlfriend, Jenna. And honestly, it wouldn't have been remarkable with out them! These guys will be amazing husbands and fathers in the future, we taught them well haha.

This week I began my training at Kate Spade and I absolutely. love. it. I can't think of any other company that I would
rather work for. Not only can I dress the way I love to dress, but the company and my managers are so positive, quirky, and
optimistic! They also invite opportunities to grow in the company, which I respect. I feel like this job was made for me. Sitting in
the conference room during training, my insides were performing fireworks! Can't wait to officially start this new experience of living colorfully.
What woo'd me over:
  1. I get to be more creative and bold with my outfits
  2. My managers are awesome
  3. There will be Essie nail polish in the break room
  4. One of the shifts before the grand opening consists of decorating our warehouse
  5. Wear as much polka dots and stripes as you want!
  6. Wear as much color as you can
  7. The sparklier, the brighter the flats the better
  8. The manager on duty is also called The Host of the Party (yes)
  9. Instead of calling it "getting checked in" or "checking out" they call it "twirling in" and "twirling out" (how cute!)
yeah i think those reasons are good enough aye?

^^got treated to this good stuff by our good friend Joshua, who's also the sushi chef!^^
^^ his face after he tried my ham^^

^^our sushi chef got to sign the menu as a gift for my parents^^
^^my dad was way too excited lol^^
^^ those fireworks... Disney you're perfect.^^
^^ probably the best creme brûlée, ever.^^

Treated my parents for their 22nd Anniversary at Disney's California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort! And the food was just divine. It's like my tastebuds escalated into a whole new level of tasting. The restaurant is located on its very own floor on the top of the resort, over looking Magic Kingdom. A good friend of ours, Joshua, treated us to some good sushi, and I don't even like sushi much. But the ham sushi was really really good actually. Cause my parents loved the sushi, they ordered two more plates haha. We then got to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. I'm really glad my parents enjoyed themselves, they deserved it!
